5 Vowels: A, E, I, O, U

and 2 Digraphs (two letters that come together to form one sound): WH and NG.
Our Te Arapu Māori poster features the full Te Reo Māori alphabet in upper case letters with Māori motifs and colourful, catchy graphics. It’s an engaging and enjoyable way for children to practice their pronunciation and begin to gain a better understanding of the Māori language, as well as being a stylish addition to their room, play space or classroom.
– By learning the Māori alphabet, toddlers can start to interact and communicate with others in Te Reo Māori more effectively.
– It develops their letter recognition which is essential for their reading and writing skills.
– They can practice letters and their sounds and begin to learn new kupu (words) to expand their vocabulary.
It is a great way to add colour & personality to baby’s nursery or your kid’s bedroom and makes the perfect gift for many occasions including baby showers and birthdays.
